Juniper Cleveland is a writer and cultural historian with a Ph.D. in Philosophy and an MFA in Poetry, whose areas of expertise range from early Victorian caroling traditions to mid-century American department store pageants.
A lifelong collector of seasonal lore, Cleveland has long believed the holiday spirit deserves more than a hurried December. 120 Days of Christmas is the result: an almanac grounded in history yet happily enlarged by imagination, where careful research and seasonal myth-making keep company.
Cleveland lives in Boston with his patient wife, brilliant daughter, and a moody Portuguese Water Dog (also known as ‘Sourpatch, the Least Favored Reindeer‘).
